Founded in Banff on the mouth of the river Deveron. A medium bodied sweet distillate with nutty and spice notes. Matured in a hogshead and finished for 20 months in a 1st fill ex-Pedro Ximenez cask. Another rarely seen make in the independent bottler scene in recent years. This typically dry and nutty distillate has been matured in a PX cask that offered the spirit a lovely sweetness but without the strong tannins normally associated with type of cask. |
