Released in September 2021, this cask strength 10-year-old Glenglassaugh 2010 is a UK Exclusive single cask bottling from a single Oloroso sherry puncheon. There's lots of great things about puncheon casks: they're a cool shape, they're big and can hold lots of whisky, and they've generally had sherry in them previously. This particular Glenglassaugh puncheon cask 2140 yielded 713 bottles at a hefty 57% and looks odds-on to be just the ticket in this winter weather. |
