Bruichladdich’s first ongoing release of 18-year-old single malt since its revival in 2001. This unpeated expression was aged on Islay, predominantly in ex-bourbon barrels with a smaller proportion of ex-wine casks adding extra layers of fruit and spice. In the glass it shows rich aromas of runny honey and butterscotch, with citrus, tropical fruits and toasted oak that lingers on the palate. | |
