11 year old single malt from the Benrinnes Distillery, which has been independently bottled up by the Thompson Bros.! This one was distilled in 2010 and initially aged in a refill hogshead, before enjoying a finishing period in an ex-Islay whisky cask for right months. It was eventually bottled at 54.7% ABV, with an outturn of 295 bottles. |

Nose Roasted nuts, perfumed malt with a hint of vanilla blossom, a slow build of dry oak and hickory. Palate Crunchy brown sugar and oily barley, leading into a subtle salinity of peat and cask char. Finish A touch of fresh orange. |
