Nose Juicy notes of stewed plums, apple and rhubarb crumble, chocolate raisins open the way while gentle notes of leathery oak cushion fragrant cinnamon and spice. Palate The stone fruits carry through with cooked plums and peaches, toasted marzipan, and sherry soaked sultanas. Finish Clove, cinnamon snaps, chocolate fondant, a touch of root ginger and chilli heat, with liquorice and cardamom in tow. |
