In 1959, Glenmorangie was given a new lease on life when it was launched into the market as a single malt after years of producing for blends like Highland Queen. By the time this 1990s bottling came around, the hard work of the Sixteen Men of Tain – the team responsible for running the distillery for decades – helped to establish Glenmorangie as one of Scotland’s premier single malts. These whiskies from the 1990s are revered for showing a weightier side of the distillery’s honeyed character, making them particularly collectible. |
