Distilled during the winter of 2010, this single malt from the Daftmill distillery was made from Publican barley, harvested on August 28th and 29th, 2009, and then malted in Alloa during the summer of 2010. This single malt comes from a careful blend of 25 first-fill bourbon casks, aged for over 12 years at the Daftmill farm. Operating as a true farm distillery since 2005, Daftmill is owned and run by the Cuthbert family. The distillery only operates during the quieter seasons on the farm, which means production can sometimes be limited to 100 casks per year. |
