This limited edition blended Scotch whisky from Compass Box is part of its Extinct Blends Quartet, a series honouring previous styles of famous blends from decades past. Ultramarine is a reimagining of an 'iconic deluxe blended Scotch' that had its first bottlings in the late '80s and early '90s – one for the Scotch sleuths among you to ponder. This blend draws on malt and grain whiskies from the Caol Ila, Girvan, Glendullan and Cameronbridge distilleries along with a whole medley of pre-blended whiskies from the Compass Box stocks, for a peaty, sherried expression. Bottled at 51% ABV, it's naturally coloured and non-chill filtered, with an outturn of 5,430 bottles.
