Suntory's latest gin
Suntory.
If you've been drinking for a while, you will have definitely heard of the Suntory distillery; or at least some of their products.
Suntory is arguably the most famous Japanese liquor brands and is home to award-winning Japanese whiskies like the Yamazaki, Hibiki and Hakushu. Suntory also owns iconic American spirits like Jim Beam and Maker's Mark.
Suntory has over 70 brands of wines and spirits in its portfolio and this blog introduces the latest gin to join the Suntory family— the Sui Gin.
Obviously, Suntory is no stranger to gins, evident from its internationally famous Roku gin. The Sui Gin was made to be a premium yet affordable gin, filling the budget premium gin gap in Suntory's portfolio.
How the Sui Gin came about
With the intention of creating a premium gin that encompasses 3 of Japan's most iconic flavors— Yuzu, Green Tea and Ginger.
Along with 8 other botanicals (juniper berry, coriander seed, angelica root, angelica seed, cardamom seed, cinnamon, bitter orange peel, and lemon peel).
This harmonious blend captures a perfect balanced gin that complements and accentuates any meal!

Sui Gin Tonic
Gin tonic is one of the best ways of enjoying a gin; the Sui gin is no exception.
This recipe is simple: 1 part Sui Gin with 4 parts Tonic water of your choice. This is the golden ratio where the flavors of the Sui Gin is nuanced but still present!
Feel free to garnish with a garnish of your choice, although we loved the gin tonic best with a fresh slice of Yuzu!
