The Rare Cask 42.1 can simply be described as a unique and rare blend packed with astonishing rich and intense flavors, presented in a spectacular black crystal decanter.

This release is limited to just over 775 decanters, specially crafted from black crystal by Baccarat. About 20 bottles will be allocated to buyers from Singapore, collectors prepare yourselves!
The Story
This is the third time in history a rare cask is discovered in the cellars of Louis XIII.
This time, the Rare Cask 42.1 was uncovered by Cellar Master Baptiste Loiseau, roughly a decade since the release of the second edition.
Inexplicable and unpredictable, a single tierçon has just unveiled its uniquely exceptional aromatic profile, giving a distinct expression of LOUIS XIII Cognac never encountered before, and with an unexpected 42.1% ABV.
It remains to be seen if there will be yet another rare cask release discovered hidden in the cellars.
The Design
An incredibly luxurious coffret and decanter fit for this rare cask.
The case is an incredibly detailed forged-metal 'strongbox' sealed by a plaque that matches the precious neck chosen for the decanter.
The coffret is patterned with a quadrilobe motif referencing the royal fleur-de-lys of France.
When the coffret is opened, an illuminated interior displays the luster of black crystal of the decanter & the contrasting rose gold.
The Rare Cask 42.1 is rhe first edition to be presented as a set, with the black crystal decanter accompanied by Pillet crystal glasses ornated with black quatrefoils and a serving pipette featuring a black medallion.
